Financial Controller (FTC 6 month)

Our client is a scaling, international consultancy with an enviable client base and outstanding reputation . They are seeking an experienced Controller to support the CFO and Finance Team through the current high growth phase focussing on the financial processes, statutory reporting, consolidations, and foreign currency. You will be a finance professional with a track recording of reviewing and improving systems , processes and controls in a growth environment . The environment is collaborative, albeit working remotely currently. With a strong element of internal consultancy in the nature of the role itself you will be responsible for:

Salary: c. £500 per day

Location: Berkshire (remote working)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of financial operations for all operating entities
  • Ensure costs are controlled within budget, maximising productivity and cost savings
  • Manage the banking facilities and cash flow
  • Manage month reporting and develop the financial reporting
  • Oversee the year end accounts process, including statutory accounts and taxation returns for each entity
  • Treasury and FX management and inter-company reconciliations

Candidate requirement:

  • You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • You must have experience in professional services/consultancy businesses
  • SME experience is essential
  • Experience of working in international finance
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP package
  • Team player and strong attention to detail
