Our client is a rapidly growing, PE backed technology business with an impressive, blue-chip client base. They are now seeking a Group Accountant who is seeking a role in an international, exit driven business. It is essential that the successful candidate is comfortable working at pace in a business going through significant change. Possibility of role becoming permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective group financial control and consolidation process
  • Ensure all local regulatory financial reporting matters are met by jurisdiction
  • Ensure that monthly balance sheets and cash flows are produced and reconciled with management information
  • Ensure business accurately reports its quarterly covenant position
  • Develop a corporate governance and risk framework for effective financial control across the business
  • Involvement with group treasury matters - to include policies, procedures, banking, risk management and controls and compliance
  • Support preparation of tax and VAT returns
  • Reconcile financial information relevant for all sales commissions
  • Ensure the appropriate authorisations and controls are in place across the business to meet corporate governance standards without compromising ability of business to make decisions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ideally having trained in practice)
  • Hands-on knowledge of finance processes and a great idea of what “excellent” looks like.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • A positive, collaborative, and engaging approach to working with colleagues.
