Interim Finance Business Partner

Our client is a VC backed, scaling developer and distributer in the consumer healthcare market.

They now have a Maternity Cover requirement for a Finance Business Partner to start immediately with the likely length of contract to stretch into October 2022. The role is a key part of the small, experienced, management team and reports directly into the Chief Financial Officer.

It will suit a broadly skilled accountant with a real appetite to make a difference in a business and who is focused on seeking a full time, medium term contractual commitment to cover the Maternity Leave in its entirety.

Responsibilities of the role will be wide and central to the business operations to include:

• Provision of full financial accounting and management reporting for the business and its holding company
• Delivery of all financial services for the business including maintenance and operation of financial ledgers, controls and reconciliations
• Provision of monthly financial reports and forecasts (P&L, cash flow and balance sheet) in liaison with MD, CFO and other managers as appropriate
• Maintaining financial control and compliance with appropriate statutes in consultation with auditors/ advisors
• Coordinating and controlling the reporting of sales /inventory with third party service providers.
• Primary operational point of contact with outsourced logistics provider
• Business partnering to the Team including weekly financial and stock forecasting and general support to commercial staff across requirements including analysis of new business propositions and profitability.

Requirements

• Graduate with professional accounting qualification
• Excellent communicator with ability to work across disciplines
• Well-developed computer skills, including Advanced Excel modelling and preferably Sage Accounts 50. Basic understanding of Excel Macro would be useful.
• Self-starter with attention to detail, ability to work at the heart of a small cross discipline team
