Financial Controller (Interim)

Our client is a PE backed growth manufacturing business, also providing repair and maintenance support. Having excellent facilities and being a “one stop shop” they have a reputation for excellence. They are seeking an Interim FC, to undertake a multi-disciplinary role working across the business, being the commercial lead of the Finance function.

Salary: c. £400 - £500 per day

Location: (Flexible working from home and some overnight hotel stays might be needed)

Responsibilities include:

  • Monthly reporting, tracking ongoing projects and review
  • Supporting the Group Sales Director with analysis and sales reporting
  • Maintaining Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Production of month/quarterly forecasts
  • Oversight of project costing and stock control
  • Review sales quotes ensuring costing for Material, Engineering and Procurement are accurate
  • Debtor’s review
  • Statutory and tax reporting
  • Managing the finance team

The Person:

  • You will be a Qualified Accountant
  • Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A broad understanding of manufacturing
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Integrity and good time management skills
