Interim Finance Consultant

Our client is a highly regarded market leading manufacturing business with a global footprint. With a strong order booked and PE backing they are expecting significant growth. As such the CFO is looking to bring in Interim support to support the finance team. This would suit a hands-on talented finance professional who has a solid breath of experience and strong technical skills. Hotels would be provided as a presence on site is required.

Salary: £300 – 500 per day (Hotel paid if needed)

Job Description

  • Group reporting and entity financial reporting
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for the monthly Board meetings.
  • Input to Budget and quarterly forecasts and preparation of rolling weekly cashflow forecasts.
  • Management of currency risk and transactions.
  • Analysis of balance sheet
  • Statutory reporting and liaising with auditors
  • Preparation of VAT, PAYE and proforma year-end tax matters undertaken on time and accurately.
  • Ad hoc duties ranging Financial Control to improvements to control and process
  • Providing support to the wider finance team

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong systems knowledge with a hands-on approach
  • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification essential.
  • Post qualification experience across Financial and Management Accounting ideally gained within a SME – Medium sized manufacturing concern.
  • Analytical mind and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to be flexible to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
