Interim Head of Group Management Reporting

Our client is a fast-growing, acquisitive PE backed group that has grown out of a number of different businesses with different backgrounds and processes. They have over 100 sites across England and Wales with the head office based in Berkshire. They are seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to lead the management account processes across the group and to manage the finance team on a day-to-day operational basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of the P&Ls for the group, adhering to the reporting deadlines. Consolidating the monthly actuals into a group P&L along with variance reviews and commentary versus budget and forecasts.
  • Manage finance projects such as system upgrades, new build financial modelling and reporting, dealing with technical reports and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Provide in depth monthly reporting to a variety of stakeholders, including staff costing and profitability.
  • Lead the budgeting, quarterly and 3-year forecasting process with a particular emphasis on staffing and resource planning
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure the balance sheets of each company are fully reconciled on a monthly basis and provide analysis and reports to management.
  • Manage the finance team on a day-to-day basis, supported by the Group Finance Controller, ensuring all areas are meeting the expected KPIs in a timely and efficient manner.


Key Experience

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Multi-site expérience Is essential
  • You must have excellent Excel skills including XLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables, power query, macros, data tables and data models.
