Following our hugely successful live event in September we are back on Zoom with the next in our series of Contemporary FD Bitesized webinars, jointly hosted with our strategic partners Evelyn Partners (formerly Tilney Smith & Williamson). These are designed to supplement our live annual Contemporary FD Summit where the CFOs and FDs of the country's most exciting, innovative and ambitious companies come together to share ideas, insights and advice.

For this session we are delighted to welcome a truly entrepreneurial CFO in Richard Price, CFO at the EQT Private Equity backed SPT Labtech Group, a global life sciences tools business. Following a strong period of organic and inorganic growth, EQT acquired SPT Labtech earlier this year from Battery Ventures for GBP 650 M.

The business is set for continued global growth supporting scientists with world-leading, innovative solutions for liquid handling, sample preparation, and sample management that help accelerate research and make a real difference to human health.

I will be in conversation with Richard and he will be giving us a fascinating insight into his CFO journey thus far reflecting on a broad range of areas including:

His take on the CFO / CEO partnership in a PE backed business;
His varied sector experience and how he has brought that variety to bear in his roles;
Working with different styles of investor (including how this impacts on exits / change of ownership);
