Interim Finance Consultant

Salary: to £500 per day

Our client has closed their fund to new investments and are looking to commence the exit strategy . They are seeking a finance consultant to project manage the transaction and have responsibility for overseeing provision of analysis, modelling, and subsequent stakeholder management. The role will report to and work with the Chair/Non-Exec board but liaise with internal staff and fund managers. The assignment is likely to range at least 3 months to possibly 6. You must be available to start within a few weeks.

Responsibilities include:

Data Analysis:

  • Support on analysis of asset and cash flow profile
  • Collate data requests for preparation of the financial model, Information memorandum and detailed DD

Project Management

  • Coordinate advisors and DD providers
  • Lead weekly calls covering multiple workstreams

Supporting the Board:

  • Engage with board members directly; updating them on the status of the transaction and alignment with board objectives
  • Support with shareholder engagement

What we are looking for:

  • Level: qualified accountant with several years’ experience
  • Experience: FS industry / accounting/ AMW, ideally with transaction support experience. Needs to be organised in terms of dealing with the respective stakeholders, data requests, help with any financial information, coordinating weekly calls

Delivery: The role can be undertaken remotely, though the expectation would be to attend some board meetings in person.
